DVCC will resume indoor worship services at our building beginning November 1st. We appreciate everyone who has worked hard to maintain our community during this time of absence and especially those who have volunteered their help in making re-opening possible.
We understand that not everyone will be comfortable returning to our building for services, additionally, our attendance capacity will be limited, so we will continue to provide worship experiences remotely for the foreseeable future. Services will be available for viewing each Sunday morning on YouTube. To view the service, click on the "Worship" tab at the top of this page or go to YouTube and subscribe to DVCC's YouTube channel.
Each person should feel free to decide when it's safe for them and their family to return for in-person worship. There will be no judgment based on your decision.
We will continue to monitor the situation and may expand or modify our protocols in the future. We ask that you please continue to pray, and that you be flexible and patient as we do our best to provide a safe environment for all.
To ensure the safety of all who attend, the following protocols have been established. Please review them before making your decision to attend in-person services.
1. Prepare before you go.
a. Stay home if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, have any symptoms of COVID-19, if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or if you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
b. If you live with those at higher risk, please consider the potential risk that attending a service in person may present to your loved ones.
c. Check this site for updated information about any additional COVID-19 safety guidelines or changes that may have taken place.
2. Wear a mask.
a. Masks are required at all times in the building or on church property.
b. Please wear your mask properly so that it covers your nose and your mouth.

b. DVCC has hand sanitizer stations throughout the building for your use.
4. Use physical distancing and limit physical contact.
a. Even when wearing a mask, maintain a distance of at least 6 feet or more from people who do not live in your household. Be particularly mindful in areas where it may be harder to keep this distance, such as check-in areas, parking lots, and routes of entry and exit.
b. Arrive early to avoid crowding and congested areas.
5. Reserved Seating
a. Attendance is currently limited to 25% of DVCC's capacity, (40 attendees).
b. To ensure that we do not exceed our capacity, and to allow for contact tracing in the event of exposure to the virus, it is necessary to register online to attend a worship service.
c. Please be aware that our children's programs (for children ages 4-10) are only available on the third Sunday of the month for the time being. On those Sundays when there is not a children's program, children will be seated with their parents and will be required to follow the same safety protocols.
d. Once arrived inside the building, an usher will seat each person or family group to help maintain physical distancing. You may not be seated in your traditional spot and your seating may change from week to week. If you have a specific need, please indicate that on your reservation form, and also inform the usher when you arrive. Ushers will do their best, but they may not be able to fulfill your request, so please be flexible.
e. Please proceed directly to the seats indicated by the ushers using the center aisle only. (Outside aisles will only be used during emergencies.)
