Our Beliefs

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6

We believe...

  • God exists in three Persons:  the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:19

  • Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless and undeserving of the penalty of sin, who died for our sins and rose from the dead.  Matthew 1:18-25

  • The Bible is the inspired word of God.  II Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:105

  • People have worth as a creation of God, but all have sinned and fall short of His glory.  Romans 3:23

  • Forgiveness of sins and eternal life are for those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord.  John 3:16

  • Those accepting Christ as Lord and Savior should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him.  Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38

  • The Church is the body of Christ and exists to preach the gospel to the lost and edify the saved in teaching, fellowship and worship.  Ephesians 4:1-6

  • Every believer should use their God-given gifts to build up the body of Christ.  Ephesians 4:11-14; I Peter 4:7-11

  • Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.  I Thessalonians 4:13-18

We value...

  • A devoted Christian lifestyle that is committed to sound doctrine, church family, the sacraments and prayer.  Acts 2:42

  • An atmosphere of enthusiasm as we join God in the work He is doing.  Acts 2:43

  • Unity among the spiritual family as we come together for God's purposes.  Acts 2:44

  • Being a people who have generous hearts towards God and others.  Acts 2:45

  • Worshipping Christ with all of our hearts, minds and souls as we come together as one body in the church building or in homes.  Acts 2:46-47

  • Developing disciples who will impact the church and the community.  Acts 2:47
