Ministry Teams
Sunday morning gatherings at the church building usually don't allow enough time to develop relationships with other members of the church family, so we provide many opportunities throughout the week where you can get plugged into smaller groups, volunteer your time, make friends and enjoy fellowship. One of the ways to do this is to serve in a ministry. Each of our ministries serves an important part in helping to make DVCC a friendly, encouraging place.
Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry works closely with our Children's Ministry Director to create a safe, nurturing place for children during our adult worship service.

If you enjoy working with children and have a heart to bring Jesus to the next generation, Children's Ministry could be the place for you!
Communication Ministry
The Communication Ministry is responsible for dispersing information about events and activities of DVCC to the congregation and to our surrounding community. This is done through weekly announcements, social media, email and the occasional production. The Communication Team also maintains the church's website.

If you enjoy being creative, writing, social media or technology in general, this could be the place for you!
Event Planning
Everyone likes a great party! The Events Planning Team works closely with staff members to help plan, organize and execute various church-wide events throughout the year.

If you like to plan, are creative, know your way around Pinterest and like to try new things, the Event Planning Team could be the place for you!
Hospitality
The Hospitality Team helps to create a warm and friendly environment for guests and members. The team is responsible for greeting visitors, and serving at the Welcome Table. The Hospitality Ministry also helps to coordinate meals for those with special needs such as a new baby or hospitalization.

If you enjoy meeting new people or have a knack for reaching out to others, the Hospitality Team could be the place for you!
Outreach
The Outreach Team works closely with our pastors to implement the Great Commission locally and globally.

Great Faith Vision - Great Faith Vision is a nonprofit organization that sends teams of health-care professionals and individuals who assist them to sites in the U.S. and abroad to work with mission organizations in underserved areas.
GFV provides eye exams, medical and social services along with supplies and follow up care.

Greatest Hope Outreach - GHO provides "Blessing Bags", bags filled with everyday, necessary items to the homeless in Philadelphia while offering hope through conversation and other resources.

Operation Christmas Child - Sends shoeboxes full of gifts to children around the world so they can experience of the love of Christ in a practical way.

Penn State Brandywine Campus - We have several ways to reach out to the PSU campus, our neighbors across the street. One way is to support the PSU Student Pantry where students who are in need of food and other necessities can come and receive items free of charge. We also support Nittany Christian Fellowship, the Christian based group on campus.
Worship
The Worship Team creates an environment of worship to God through music and other creative methods. The Worship Ministry includes instrumentalists, singers, and the Tech Team.

Tech Team members receive training on our sound and visual equipment. Auditions are required for instrumentalists and singers.

If you sing, play an instrument, enjoy technology or have a good ear for sound, the Worship Ministry could be the place for you!
Youth
The Youth Ministry Team works closely with our pastors to provide middle and high school students with opportunities to develop a deep, personal faith in Jesus Christ through education and experiences.

If you enjoy working with young people, have a heart for mentorship and a lot of enthusiasm, the Youth Ministry Team could be the place for you!
