"Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.  Praise the Lord!"  Psalm 150:6

We believe that worship is our primary function as a church body.  While COVID-19 has had a direct impact on how we worship together, we still worship!  At DVCC, we have several ways that you can join us.

Online Services

Each week we present an online service via YouTube.  Currently, this is not a live event, but is similar to our indoor service.  There is a worship song, communion meditation and offering meditation, as well as announcements and a sermon.  We intend to do live streaming of our indoor services in the future, so stay tuned!

I'm new!"

What to Expect

Please note:  The following description of DVCC worship services pertains to the time pre-COVID-19.  We're hoping that we can return to these practices in the near future, so we're leaving this information here for future reference.

DVCC is a "come as you are", family-friendly church.  You'll find people who have been attending DVCC since it first opened its doors to people who've never walked into a church building before. Some people come in jeans and others are a bit more dressed up. We have people who have grown up in Delaware County and others who are from other parts of the country and around the world.  The common thread that binds us all together is a desire to know more about God and to learn how to better serve Him.

Our Sunday morning adult worship service begins at 10:30am and typically lasts an hour and 15 minutes (Pre-COVID.  Our current indoor services last about 45 minutes.)  During this time, we praise God through music, share in communion, pray and listen to a teaching from the Bible.

If you have children, you can expect to find a safe, friendly and caring environment for them.  There are classes available for children ages birth - 5th grade during our morning worship time. Every staff member and volunteer who works in our Children and Youth Ministries have had background checks and have received child safety training.  Visit our Children's Ministry or Youth Ministry page for more information about these ministries.

Don't worry if you're new to the church experience.  We're all on this journey together and we're happy to have you along!
