DVCC is committed to the spiritual development of your children.
Our team will work together to promote the core values of DVCC in all of our programs
and events throughout the year.
Please note: The following description of DVCC Children's Ministry pertains to the time pre-COVID-19. We're hoping that we can return to these practices in the near future, so we're leaving this information here for future reference. Currently, we have a children's program during our worship service for ages 3-5th grade. If you have any questions, please use the "Let's Keep in Touch" form at the bottom of this page.
Parents/ caregivers must fill out a DVCC Children’s Ministry Child Information Form in our system for each child, which includes information on allergies, special needs, authorization for photo and video, basic first aid and playground use as well as essential parent/ caregiver contact information. Child Information Forms must be updated yearly or whenever your information changes.
For infants up to 12 months and young toddlers up to 30 months. This program is available during all services, special events and holidays.
We want babies to be brought to Jesus’ lap the first time they come to our Nursery. Our caring staff and volunteers are ready to show God’s love to your little ones. Your child will experience supervised “free-play,” songs and stories about Jesus, and individual prayer for your baby, in an appropriately equipped, clean and welcoming environment.
Toddlers, Preschool & Kindergarten
For children 30 months – 5 years old. This program is available during all services and at select special events and holidays.
We offer a fun and safe environment with age appropriate toys and activities, including Bible Time, where the children have the opportunity to worship Jesus, hear the Word of God, make a craft, pray and play together, and of course have a snack.
1st - 5th Grade
For children 6 to 10 years old. This program is available during all services and at select special events and holidays.
Our program involves both a large group and a small group aspect. The children are in large group settings for worship, Bible lesson presentation and group games, and they are in small group settings for discussion/ discipleship, prayer, relationship building and crafts.
