Join us for a refreshing weekend away designed to deepen our relationship with God and one another.
Registration and non-refundable deposit are due by Sunday June 28th. Registration may close early due to limited space. Full weekend Registration is $265 includes 2 nights lodging, and 5 meals. Non-refundable deposit of $65 is due at time of registration. Commuters are welcome at a flat rate of $100. Non-refundable deposit of $25 is due at time of registration.
Tentative schedule: Friday- arrival at Black Rock at 4pm, dinner, session 1; Saturday- breakfast, morning session 2, lunch, free time, dinner, session 3, campfire/ s'mores; Sunday- breakfast, morning session 4, depart by 1pmTransportation will not be provided or arranged by retreat facilitators.
Guest Speaker: Laurel Mingle
Get to know our guest speaker. Laurel Mingle is committed to knowing God and encouraging others to know him as well. Since she first believed the gospel of Christ at age 19, she has been deeply involved in the community of God's people. A former kindergarten teacher and piano teacher, Laurel has taught the Bible to people in a wide variety of settings. She has been the wife of David for 46 years, and these days is often found packing a suitcase to visit her twelve grandchildren scattered in northern Maine, Chicago and Nashville.
Black Rock Retreat
Lodging is reserved for DVCC women only as we have limited space.
We will be in the Dogwood Motel at the retreat center. We will have a meeting room with hotel style rooms surrounding. Each of our 7 rooms will hold 3 women. The rooms will include linens and a private bathroom.
