The Sluggin' Saints play in the recreational slow pitch Upper Main Line Church Softball League against other churches in the area. The league runs from April to July and games are held on Sunday afternoons in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Anyone male or female over the age of 14 is welcome to come and play. No experience is necessary, but some is recommended for safety purposes. Anyone at all of any age is welcome to come out and watch the games. While it is fun to win, our focus is on having a good time with friends we know and making new ones too.
Once a month a local eatery is chosen for anyone at all to fellowship over lunch together. The group meets on the first Sunday of the month following the service - usually sometime between 12 and 1. MEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
The purpose of the Men's Discipleship Group is to help ground us in the core truths of the Christian faith so we can be effective and fruitful disciples of Jesus. It doesn't matter if you are new to your faith, or have been in Christ for many years. Involvement in this group requires a commitment to being at the meetings, and doing some homework outside of the group. The group meets at DVCC on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month beginning at 7pm. If you are interested in joining this group when they begin their next session, contact Pastor Scott.
