A Church PlantIn 1964 five families from the mid-west began to feel God calling them to plant a church on the east coast. After months of praying and seeking God, the families packed up their bags and moved to Delaware County, Pennsylvania. They began having church services in a home until they grew to 40 people. Then in 1965 they began to rent a building in Springfield, Pennsylvania. The church stayed in that location until 1972 when they had enough money to build their own church. They built the new church at 535 North Old Middletown Road which has been the meeting place for the members of Delaware Valley Christian Church ever since.
