Christine Haley is home from the hospital after giving birth to her son, Jackson. Jackson is 4 weeks premature, so he'll be staying behind in the hospital for the next month. The Haley's could use our support through prayer and by supplying meals. If you would be willing to supply a meal or two over the next couple of weeks, please contact Marilyn Blair by clicking here. Knowing how many great cooks there are in our congregation, this should be a great way to do a Deliberate Act of Kindness.
We've posted some new details on how DVCC can support Lori's missionary work during her visit to the area. Please check out the list. If you can help with one or more of these needs, please contact Ken Fitzgerald as soon as possible. Thanks for your cooperation in this important opportunity. If you'd be willing to fill some of that need, please speak with Ken Fitzgerald (or email him by clicking here).
One of our missionaries, Lori Witham, will be visiting with us on April 21st. Lori is home on furlough and is celebrating 20 years of service in the mission field. She is in need of housing while she's here as well as some transportation. If you'd be willing to fill some of that need, please speak with Ken Fitzgerald (or email him by clicking here).
Here's a really simple Act of Kindness for you. Doris Blair will be celebrating her 90th Birthday on April 15. So when you're mailing your taxes, please take the time to send a card to arrive on or about that date. Please don't mention this to or around Doris...IT'S A SURPRISE!!!! For her address, please consult the directory, or contact me by clicking here. This is a really easy way to do a "Deliberate Act of Kindness". We'd like to hear a report back from Doris that she received dozens of Birthday Cards.
